Cooking

Those who know me and Kenley long enough know that he is a good cook but I know nothing about cooking. So for the last couple months I started learning cooking, provided that I have the time and mood (this is very important, haha!).

It is a really painful learning process especially when the finished product turns out to be a mess (which is always the case). Not only that I have to clean up the kitchen, but also I have to eat the so-called food. Many of the times I just don't understand how come I can only make the food from "raw" to "cooked", while Kenley can cook the food so delicious with flavors.

I have dinner by myself tonight so I decide to try something new. I stir fry the bak-choy and steam a plate of fishpaste with tofu. The bak-choy is alright, at least it is not as salty as my first time. The fishpaste with tofu looks good, but the texture is so weird. Sigh! Lucky that Kenley has to pack lunch tomorrow, so half of the dish goes into his lunch box. By the time he discovered how awful the taste is, he has no choice already, am I smart? haha...

Well, practice makes perfect. I will keep trying, don't worry :)
